We have a new website name!

Our new web address is WWW.LAKESAREASWINGBAND.COM and the old www.lacsb.com will no longer function after August 2009.

Lakes Area Community Swing Band donates $2,000 to the ACHS band

The ACHS Band received a $2,000 donation from the Lakes Area Community Swing Band. The donation was presented at the Lakes Area Community Band Spring Concert, held in the ACHS Auditorium

The money will be used towards the purchase of sound panels for the band room; During band practice, the decibel level in the band room often reaches over 100 dB, which can cause hearing damage after prolonged exposure. These sound panels will absorb some of the sound in the room and create a safer listening environment for the music students.
