THE LAKES AREA SWING BAND

Huge car show in downtown Grayslake.  9am to 2pm.  Trophies awarded in 18 classes.  Music by LASB from 10am - 1pm (approx).

LASB had a great time performing for, and with, the Wauconda Jazz Ensemble and Lab Jazz Band musicians. The HS auditorium venue was great, the audience was great, and the HS musicians were steller! LASB made a donation to their Jazz Band program after the music was done. Hopefully these "kids" will take some inspiration from the evening to keep playing their instruments and developing their artistry.

Just announced.  The annual valentines day dance is confirmed once again for 2024!  Come out and SWING!

Last Saturday's Great Gatsby fundraiser event was truely fabulous.  A sold-old event with most everyone dressed up in "roaring 20's" style to raise funds for Fox Lake Village improvements.  The dance floor was packed all night to the sounds of Lakes Area Swing Band performing our extensive book of swing era tunes.  Hope you'll do this event again in the future!
