THE LAKES AREA SWING BAND

Bring your lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy the best of Dog and Suds, old cars, and swing music!

It was an honor to perform our music for the folks of Palatine plus so many friends of Lakes Area Swing Band that came out.  A great turn out on a slightly chilly night, and a very enthusiastic crowd.  As a 501c organization we SO appreciate the generosity of the Palatine Park District and their sponsors PLUS PLUS the graciously given tips.....all of which will be added to our scholarship fund for middle and high schoolers to attend lessons or band camps next summer.  Until next time a hearty "Thank You"!

LASB has granted scholarships to applicants from Mundelein HS, Palombi MS, and Fremont MS.  The grants pay for summer band camps as well as grants for private lessons.  The performing members of Lakes Area Swing Band congratulate theses students on their musical accomplishments and commitment to music studies. 

Grants will be determined and communicated by May 10th.

Come celebrate at the Fox Lake American Legion's annual Valentine's Day Dance—a great evening filled with music and dancing to the romantic sounds of the Lakes Area Swing Band.
